A “Time Travellers Wife” Styled Shoot

I am so so so excited for this post! I did my first styled shoot back at the beginning of June and wow did it ever exceed my expectations!  Everything came together perfectly…you can read about how here.

I read “The Time Travellers Wife” a few years ago when I had just gotten out of the hospital after having Luca. I remember reading it at 3am while nursing and just loving it. The story was so romantic. The movie was almost as good as the book and I loved the actors who played Clare and Henry.

My sister Chantale Demers (the wedding designer who designed the shoot for us) and I have both wanted to put together a styled shoot for awhile now. We tossed so many ideas back and forth and it wasn’t until I was looking for a movie one night to watch with Marco that I saw my copy of the movie! I called her right away and we both talked for a good hour about ideas!

Seeing it all come together makes me so happy, and so excited. When I started doing photography it was one of my goals, was to start doing one or two styled shoots a year. Here is the first one!

This group was SO SO SO amazing to work with. Becky BLEW ME AWAY with her makeup skills! She was incredible to work with and I strongly recommend her to any bride! My two sisters Chantale and Monique were obviously great to work with!

Chantale…the table was gorgeous. It was better than what I had pictured in my head. Thanks so much for your hard work…for dealing with me, the CRAZY wind, and for organizing the rentals from Classic.

Jessica from Trove Vintage was incredible! I will definitly work with you again!! Your rentals completed the shoot so amazingly! THANK YOU!

Classic Party Rentals donated the rentals for us! Thank you! I have worked with them so often in the past and I will continue to do so!!! They will forever be one of my favourite vendors!

And lastly Delayne and Jeremy! You guys were incredible! Thanks so much for being our models! You were so easy to work with, so fun to work with and you made the shoot! :)

LOVED IT!!!!! I don’t think I need to say anything more… but I will!!! It looked SO professional… the table setting and the photography (of course)! I have never read the book, but I want to now. I don’t know if this was intended, but I also LOVE how it looks SO country chic. My favorite picture is the pink shoes in the grass!!!! You should do a styled shoot in Kelowna (I would love to help).
