Blackberry Picking

When I was down in Abbotsford last, my parents and I took Luca blackberry picking at a park near my parents house. It was HOT. So hot. Like cranky hot. The kind of hot where you sweat just sitting there. Gross hot. But for some reason we thought blackberry picking would be a good idea….in direct sun. With a toddler.

Lucky for us Luca had so much fun! He doesn’t seem to mind the heat as much as his mom does! haha he couldn’t get the blackberries into his mouth fast enough. We managed to pick an ice cream bucket full and bring it back for dessert! Luca even brought some home for breakfast the next morning.

I even got to try out turning my 50mm lens into a macro! Not the best quality, but it I thought it looks pretty neat! To find out how to do that, check it out here!

Luca follows his Papa everywhere!

We had to walk up this hill to get to the ripe blackberries!

Mmmmmmmmmmm

Who says you can’t shoot in direct sun? I love the way these turned out!

His face that Aunty Mo taught him

 His rock “plate”

Only a toddler could run in that heat!

Regular 50mm on the left, macro on the right!

Nothing better after blackberry picking than splashing around naked in the pool and playing with your truck.
