Blaire and Darren were sent my way from another photographer! I so so appreciated the referral, and was excited to meet them! I always love meeting a couple beforehand to get to know them so that by their engagement session we are already feeling comfortable with each other! So I was a little nervous to be meeting Blaire and Darren for the first time at their engagement session. They told me after they were feeling the same thing! But within a few minutes I knew everything was going to be great! These two are AWESOME!

We met at Ellwood Park in Abbotsford. I LOVE it there in the Fall…the leaves change to glorious colours of orange, red and yellow! The lighting that day was spectacular! It was the perfect combination of gorgeous lighting, colours and an amazing couple! They are by far some of my favourite engagement photos of the year!

Blaire and Darren met while they were both working at  Boston Pizza…they had crushes on each other for awhile, but it wasn’t until a group of them went to Vegas together that they started their relationship!

Darren popped the question while they were hiking Ledgeview in Abbotsford. Darren had pre-arranged a picnic to be arranged at a gorgeous lookout over Abbotsford. There were flowers and a blanket that read, “Will you marry me Blaire.” Blaire told me she thought at first that they had intruded someone elses proposal! But when Darren dropped to one knee she was beyond excited!

I loved meeting you guys and I can’t wait for your wedding next June!!

 

These two are so amazing! The photo on the left was the first frame of the session! Didn’t take them long to warm up to the camera at ALL!

Darren: “I have never met anyone who is so driven and yet so commpassionate at the same time, she is always striving to better herself and the world around her. She is always getting me to try and do new things, which I love. I have come to appreciate the world more because I met Blaire.”

 

 Blaire: “Darren is the most considerate and genuine person I know. He would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger and has such compassion for everyone. He’s a great balance to me and somehow we just get each other. I knew I struck gold when I found him and I feel so blessed to have met him.
