I feel like I am an honorary member of this family! I went to highschool with both Kristen and her older sister Camille! (Who you may recognize from her wedding last November) I was close with both of them and remember in English 12 when Kristen would go on and on about this handsome guy Jason she was dating!

Not many highschool relationships last unfortunately, but these two were meant to be. I don’t think anything could tear them apart! The way they look at each other, the way his eyes light up when she walks in the room, and the way Kristen still gets that HUGE GRIN whenever she talks about him! I feel so blessed to be a part of her and Jason’s wedding day!

Their day started at Kristen’s parents house with all the girls buzzing around to get ready! I LOVED all her bridesmaids! They were so fun and SO amazingly supportive of Kristen! :)

The rest of the wedding took place at Mill Lake in Abbotsford and the Trethewey House….I LOVE this location. It’s surprisingly private, and it so fit their wedding theme!

The highlights of this wedding for me, were seeing how Kristen giggled and could barely contain their excitement as they were announced husband and wife, and the speeches…..oh the speeches! Familiar with how speeches go with this family, I came packed with tissues! This family gives the most emotional speeches, and often dissolves every guest present into tears, and this was no exception! The love and warmth and amazingly kind words were flowing from everyone!

Jason and Kristen! Thank you so so much for having me as a part of your day!! I look forward to dinner together soon!!! After hearing Camille rave about how you two cook together I can’t wait!! :) LOVE you guys!!! :)
