These two couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. Touching foreheads together, holding hands, cuddling and kissing. I LOVE photographing couples who can’t help but reach out and cuddle each other. Who after I pose them, stay in the pose a little bit longer just because they love being so close. This was Mark and Rianna!

They are getting married this Fall in Vancouver, but had their heart set on an Okanagan engagement session at Mark’s parents property in Winfield. When Rianna first emailed me she described the property as a few acres on the lake, with a dock and a vineyard! Ummm yes please! The property surpassed anything I had imagined and the lighting was GORGEOUS!

As I was driving to their session, it started raining like crazy, and it was raining when I met them at Mark’s parents house. We decided to wait it out for a few minutes, and just go for it! I am so glad we did! It is by far the prettiest, craziest and amazing lighting I have EVER worked in!!! Mark and Rianna couldn’t stop laughing at my fist pumping and giggling!

 

Mark and Rianna met their first day of law school at UBC in Vancouver. They sat right next to each other!

“Mark proposed while we were snowshoeing at Big White Ski Resort (during an idyllic, peaceful snowfallsooooo perfect!).”

The first thing I noticed about Mark was the first thing Rianna also noticed! He has such a DEEEEP voice! But when I asked Rianna to choose a favourite quality of Mark’s she couldn’t!

“…but I think one of them would have to be his laugh. When he laughs in public, he has this deep laugh to match his deep voice, but, around me, his laugh is high-pitched and silly! “

Mark is one lucky guy to have Rianna in his life. She’s the brightest, smiliest, warmest person I think I have ever met! She’s one of those people you just instantly like!

“I love Rianna’s gregarious, always-happy personality was the first thing I noticed. Her caring, loving nature is what I love most about her.”
