A week of laughs…

The biggest question everyone asked when I told them a photographer friend from Missoula Montana was coming to visit for a week is, “How did you two meet?” to which we quietly reply………”online.”

Both Jackie and I use Showit for our websites….and LOVE it. We are both really active in the facebook community that was started almost two years ago. It’s the best photography community I have ever been a part of. So open, welcoming, kind, non-judgemental and although it has received some flack in the past, I wouldn’t change my being a part of it for anything. I have met so many amazing people, Jackie included.

Jackie and I first got to know each other better, when Jackie was assigned me for this past Christmas’ Secret Santa. She creeped my pinterest board and made a handful of things from my DIY board! :) LOVE!

From there we started chatting more, and eventually skyped…..for 3 hours! And that started a weekly 3-5 hour skype date tradition. And for some reason, when Jackie was on sykpe I GOT WORK DONE. Time flew by, and work got done.

A few months ago Jackie told me she had a wedding up here! I was so excited to finally get to meet her! :) We got chatting, and figured out that Jackie could 2nd shoot for me for my July 14th wedding, and I could 2nd shoot for her July 20th wedding! And she got to stay at my house alllll week!

I was a tad nervous before she arrived…..what if she was really weird?! What if she was really short? Well she arrived last Friday and she was really short! haha but not weird at all! It felt like I had met her already and known her for years. We spend the evening in our guest room, while the amazing Marco did a junk food run and delivered right to the room! :) We love you honey :)

For the past week we have had a jam packed days, stayed up way too late, gotten a crapload of work done, laughed so many times it’s ridiculous, shot two wedding together, an engagement session, lifestyle photos of Jackie, and eaten way too much junk food.
