This weekend we were so excited for our first house guests of the year! Megan and Dave made the 3 hour drive from Abbotsford to visit us!

I LOVE love LOVE having guests! Growing up in a house with 4 kids our house was always busy and there were always lots of people around. Our family of 3 is amazing, and I love every minute we have together, but it is so nice to have the busy-ness back again, even if just for the weekend!

Megan and Dave arrived right as I bought my new camera! They were amazed with my patience and willpower as it stayed in it’s box until we went to the winery on Monday afternoon!

We spent the weekend at the movie theatres, the boys went golfing, a walk along the lake with ice cream at MooLixs, bacon and eggs for breakfast, California Spring Salad for dinner with bbq’d chicken, games night, bubbles in the living room, and to end it all off a wine tour at Summerhill Pyramid Winery!

Waiting for their wine tasting….we both went home with two bottles…I bought the Riesling, and the Ehrenfelser….SO amazingly delicious!

To end our weekend off Marco’s family came over for a BBQ! Marco made homemade burgers and I made some salads! We ate ice cream for dessert out in the backyard! It was the perfect weekend!!
