My little brother graduated this year. Man do I feel old now.
He is 9.5 years younger than me, and was always the baby of the family! Our little “buddy” who would make up stories of “googee bugs” who lived on the roof of our house, and pretend to “go to work” with Dad, and Bob and GeeGee! Sometimes I love our age difference…I still remember the day my parents told us they were pregnant with him. I still remember when my brother came home from the hospital. I still remember how bad I felt for him the first time he had the flu. Sometimes I don’t like our age difference, we never really played together….I moved out when he was 12 and missed being at home these last 5 years with him….therefore missing a significant portion of teasing regarding girls, and his sad attempts at growing a beard! haha
He was the little brother who would score 19 soccer goals in one weekend tournament, yet decide he wanted to play hockey instead. The one who would then decide to play the most expensive position in hockey, a goalie. The one who would proceed to kick serious butt as a goalie!! His rep team made it to provincials this year in Kelowna and I had a blast photographing his team play! :)
Jean-Luc I am so proud to have you as my little brother, and yes even though you are a good 4 inches or more taller than me, you will always be my little brother! You are an awesome uncle to Luca, and we love you so much! :)
I had so much fun photographing your graduation and prom, and it was great to meet and get to know all your friends better!! They are an AWESOME group of people! :)
