Brad and Amanda got married just before Christmas at Swaneset Bay Resort in Pitt Meadows….and it was AMAZING!

I have known Brad since my first year of college! He’s close friends with one of my best friends Carrolyn (who you’ll see below in the photos reading a poem during their ceremony!) from UFV Volleyball. That first year of college we met a few times at parties, at the Christmas play every year at Carrolyn’s church, trips to Sunpeaks skiing, 70 Mile quadding and camping and an amazingly fun trip at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival! Brad was always one of my favourites, he always made sure me and Carrolyn were ok…he took on the protective big brother role everytime we went anywhere. At the music festival he made us carry around a baseball bat whenever we went anywhere without a male “body guard”. The first year of college when I broke up with my highschool boyfriend, I remember him having the most comforting things to say, and he helped Carrolyn help me pack for a Sunpeaks ski trip! That is still one of my favourite memories!

Earlier last year, I heard from Carrolyn that Brad had gotten engaged and I was SOOO excited to meet Amanda!! I had heard nothing but the most amazing things, and every single one was true! She is amazingly gorgeous and Brad’s match in every single way!! The way Brad looks at her is enough to tell anyone that he’s met his one.

Amanda is funny, laid back, and cool. Cool is the first word that came to mind actually haha. One of those girls that everyone would have wanted to know in highschool. The kind of girl that you just want to have as your friend! Many people seem to agree with me, as their wedding was FULL of close friends and family who just ADORE her!

Their wedding was magical! It was the most stunning winter wedding, surrounded with silver and navy decor, there was touches of snowflakes and elegance everywhere you looked. It felt like a wedding out of a movie….the entire atmosphere of the room all night was a buzzing excitement and laughter.

Brad and Amanda, thank you SO much for having me as a part of your day! I loved it so much and it meant the world to me! :) I can’t WAIT for the next stage of your life and to meet Baby Nipius in September!! :)
