Dan and Emily got married at the beginning of May in Cancun at one of the most STUNNING locations ever! If you haven’t checked out their wedding photos yet, you can view them HERE. (<<< and I strongly suggest checking them out! They had a GORGEOUS wedding day!)

I asked Emily before the trip if she would be up to trash her dress! Emily got her main dress at THE Kleinfeld’s in New York City so I totally understood her saying no! (I wouldn’t be trashing that dress either!!) BUT Emily had a second dress that she was all up for trashing!! So we headed down to the beach and did a quick session! It was getting stormy and the waves were crashing so hard! It even rained on us for a bit near the end! I kept having to move my camera bag because the waves kept coming in closer and closer!

I adore these day after sessions! They are an amazing chance to be a bit more adventurous than on your wedding day! There’s no worries about heading off to your reception after! There’s no stress, they are just you two totally relaxed! I love exploring for spots, and taking chances we wouldn’t otherwise take on your wedding day! The photos always end up being my absolute favourite! :)
