ohmygosh I am excited to post this one! I met with Lisa and Derek this summer to talk about their wedding next year in Harrison and right away just loved them both!

Lisa is so fun! She is full of energy and came to our first meeting with an armful of ideas! I LOVE her enthusiasm for photography and how excited she was for tonight!! Where Lisa is talkative, Derek is the listener! (very similar to me and my hubby!! Probably why I hit it off with Lisa right away!!) He is definitely the strong silent type! (and yes he does work out ;) He was such a trooper for our session although he still doesn’t think he’s photogenic….I think he’s nuts for thinking so!! :)

Lisa’s excitement for their engagement session was contagious and she suggested a local park in Langley because she really wanted Fall colours. I was location scouting that weekend for a spot for our family photos, and as soon as I found it, I also thought of Lisa. I emailed her, with my fingers crossed, that she would be up for the drive, and trust me enough to give it a go! I AM SO GRATEFUL SHE DID. Without ever seeing the location, they drove out of their way up a mountain to this spot. I would say it was worth it!

Thank you Lisa and Derek so so much for trusting me! It means the world to me!!! I can’t WAIT for your wedding next summer!! :)
