Aaron and Leslie chose to do their engagement photos at Harrison Mills just a week before their Riverway Golf Course wedding. Check them out HERE!  They wanted to be really present during their day. They still wanted those photos of the two of them together to celebrate, but they held equally important the time with their loved ones. They wanted to focus on having their genuine and candid moments captured. They even delayed their portraits until sunset so they could spend cocktail hour with their live swing band and the rest of their guests as they played lawn games and celebrated!

Their wedding theme was, “a day a the races”. They encouraged fascinators, and large hats and they had a live swing band for cocktail hour as everyone played outside and enjoyed the venue. Their entire day was focused on relaxed celebration. The speeches were filled with hilarious and sentimental stories and the love for these two was obvious everywhere you looked. The entire family welcomed us in and all day told us little snippets of funny moments from their lives. It didn’t feel like two families coming together to celebrate, it felt like one BIG family coming together to celebrate their favourite couple.

Their wedding felt like out of a movie. The sunset was stunning, their guests were just so open and welcoming. It’s hard to put into words how amazing it was to be there to witness it all. Leslie changed into a second dress for the dancing and hit the dance floor with so many talented and passionate dancers! And when the Dirty Dancing theme song came on, you bet these two didn’t miss a move! And then two of the guys tried the lift as well and it didn’t go quite as hoped haha.

The entire day was magical and I felt so honored to be a part of it. I loved every minute of it and getting to witness it all. Aaron and Leslie thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me into your day! It meant so much to me! :)
