Monique is my little sister! Little being 5.5 years younger! And she is getting married! AH! I am so excited! I told their meeting and engagement story here. HE videotaped their engagement too! But I can’t embed it in here for some reason! I wish I could! I will share it on my facebook page!

Monique and Howard came up to Kelowna for the weekend, so I OBVIOUSLY said “LET’S TO YOUR ENGAGEMENT PICTURES AT THE NUT FARM!!!!” cause everyone knows my deep deep love for that place! It’s just so so so gorgeous! The lighting, the trees….everything about it!

Monique and Howard together are adorable! They are so madly in love….the way they look at each other, they way they kiss (it’s kinda gross!), and the way they talk to each other. This one is gonna last! They are getting married February 4th of 2012, only 4 more months of waiting!! I get to help out with their pictures a little bit too! As much as I can while being a bridesmaid too! The wonderful, talented and gorgeous Tanis Katie Photography, will do the honors of her wedding photos! I am counting down the days!

It was a rather improptu decision to do their engagement pictures up here. I kinda tossed out the idea once they had already arrived, and then DEMANDED that they be done at the Nut Farm. haha. They were in, and as we were getting in the car, I asked Monique if she had any props in her bag by any chance? She managed to come up with a few things and I was floored! It was amazing! I can’t believe the whole thing came together so quickly! It looks like a well planned out styled shoot….it wasn’t at all! :)

It’s so fun to work with two people you know so well! I was demonstrating poses on Monique, and pushing Howard around. It was so much fun!

 Monique found a heart shaped nut! How perfect hey?!

 

I think Monique got the majority of the looks in the family!!  Don’t tell her I said that though.

See?!?! Coolest props ever! And I love how personalized they are! Things they just had with them for a road trip!

 

 We also found two acorns that were still attached together, thought it was perfect for a ring shot!
